Sleep Training · From 4-6 months
Full nights, at last.
Frequent wake-ups, fragile routines, broken nights: past the first few months, many families want to find more stable sleep, for baby and for themselves. My sleep training support is a gentle, progressive method that I apply every day with several families in Geneva, not just in theory.
Why not just a phone call?
A remote sleep coach gives you advice to apply on your own. I can do more: thanks to my maternity nurse experience, I can be present at your home, day or night, to apply the program live with your baby. Not just tell you what to do, but do it with you until it works.
Not too strict, not too permissive: just right
My method is gentle and progressive: I draw on Ferber and fading, with check-ins at increasing intervals (for example 2, then 4, then 7 minutes), with each interval a little longer every night of the program. At the final interval, I pick baby up to reassure them briefly before putting them back down, which the classic protocol doesn't include. I come back very regularly: baby is never fully left to themselves.
I trained myself in this approach, and I refine it every day with several families in Geneva. The transition usually takes one to two weeks, the time it takes for the new habit to truly set in.
A four-step journey
From our first conversation to independent nights, I stay by your side at every step.
Initial assessment
We review baby's sleep habits, age, temperament and your goals. I answer all your questions before we start.
Personalized program
You receive a written plan: bedtime and nap schedules, evening ritual, and the exact interval schedule (2, 4, 7 minutes to start, a little longer each night).
Implementation
I apply the program with you: I come back into the room at increasing intervals to briefly reassure baby (voice, touch, sometimes picking them up for a moment), never leaving them fully to themselves. The intervals get longer night after night, until baby falls asleep on their own. The first results usually appear within one to two weeks.
Follow-up & adjustments
We review at the end of the program, and adjust for setbacks like regressions, illness or teething. My goal: that you feel truly independent once I'm no longer there.
My approach to sleep training
Sleep Training
After the first months of overnight care and support, many families want to help their baby build more independent sleep. My sleep training program is a natural extension of my maternity nurse experience: a gentle, progressive method that I apply every day with several families in Geneva.
No crying it out: I reduce my presence gradually, over one to two weeks, the time it takes for a new habit to truly set in. Every program is built together with you, based on your baby's temperament and your daily life.
- Gentle, progressive method: gradual reduction of my presence, never leaving baby to cry alone
- Personalized program: initial assessment, custom written plan, adjustments along the way
- In-person presence available: unlike a simple phone call, I can apply the program at your home, day or night
- From remote support to full immersion: a formula for every level of need
- Support until independence: final review and adjustments so you feel confident once I'm no longer there

Verified Google reviewFrequently asked questions about sleep training
At what age can sleep training start?
Generally from 4 to 6 months, once baby's circadian rhythm is established and there's no longer an essential nighttime feeding need. We assess the right timing together during the initial assessment.
Do I have to let my baby cry?
Baby may cry a little between my check-ins, but never alone for long: I come back very regularly to reassure them by voice and touch, at increasingly spaced intervals (a method inspired by Ferber).
What's the difference with the Sleep and Crying Consultation?
The Sleep and Crying Consultation (CHF 90) is a one-off remote exchange for targeted advice. Sleep Training is a complete program, with support over several days and, depending on the formula, my physical presence at your home, day or night.
